I am a self-taught artist who draws inspiration from recycled materials and repurposed objects. I feel connected to old, broken things. My mediums change with my emotions, each serving different purposes in my process. I enjoy taking or breaking things apart and rebuilding them in alternative forms. For me, art is a physical and mental release executed in stages. Creating a mess is essential. My work shows process, transformation, and, ultimately, growth, change, and healing. I am a work in progress, as are my creations.
With a background in luxury retail sales, interior/fashion design, personal styling, and project management, and a master’s in clinical social work, I bring a diverse set of skills and experiences to my art. I am an artist, a designer, and a healer of sorts. My versatility allows me to navigate various creative projects with community and collaborative processes at the center. I am particularly drawn to locally and environmentally driven projects that aim to connect individuals with themselves and their communities.
